16mm, Color, 6min. 2008

This film was shot at Villa Pamfili Doria in Rome, Italy. The concept was to shoot 200 feet of 16mm film while walking 200 feet. 200 feet of film is approximately 6min at 24 frames per second. The film is shot once at 24 frames per second and then again at 48 frames per second in 3 min. I then again walked the 200 feet in 6 min. and recorded the sound. This is the first of a series of films where I want to capture time and space with the actual measurement of celluloid film.
